It doesn’t matter where we go, it matters where and how we get there: over 1,000 people participated in the Solidarity March

Today, June 15, despite a last-minute change of route, the Solidarity March of the Moldova Pride 2025 Festival was a success. More than a thousand people – members of the LGBTQI+ community, allies, activists and friends – marched together, demonstrating that, year after year, the voice of solidarity is becoming stronger and more numerous in the Republic of Moldova.

Participants were united by the message of equality, human rights and hope for an inclusive society. Although the originally planned route was changed shortly before the start of the march, the organizers and participants managed to reach their destination safely and with dignity. This success reconfirms the determination of the community and the increasingly broad support it enjoys.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the law enforcement agencies for the professionalism and openness they demonstrated, ensuring the peaceful conduct of the march in a safe environment.

The 2025 Solidarity March was, as every year, more than an event – ​​it was an exercise in visibility, a declaration of belonging and a step forward on the path to equality.
