ReportAs one of the largest and oldest LGBT organization in Eastern Europe, the Information Centre “GenderDoc-M” is ready to share the gained experience with young LGBT organizations. As a resource center, we are ready to provide trainings for drafting organizational documents as: the strategic plan, the ethics code of the organization’s employee, volunteering policy, schedule staff şi employees responsibilities and trainings for working with journalists, police, LGBT parents and other segments of society.

We believe that organizations and human rights activists should guide by the principles of universality, indivisibility, interdependence and close correlation of human rights, including LGBT. This is, namely, the reason, that the Information Centre “GenderDoc-M” organizes trainings for non-governmental organizations representatives that activates in the field of human rights, to which is provided accurate information about sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, stereotypes and prejudices against LGBT people.

Specialists
Each specialist’s task is to provide professional services to various beneficiaries. Our organization has a rich experience of working with specialists’ groups as: medical workers, police officers, border police, psychologists, social workers.
The aim of the trainings is to provide truthful information about sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, to expose stereotypes and prejudices against LGBT people and to help professionals better understand LGBT beneficiaries.

LGBT people are a part of Moldavian society; this means that they are the listeners, readers and your audience that deserve to be treated with respect and equally with Moldavian citizens. The Information Center “GenderDoc-M” conducts trainings for journalists in order to help media to avoid from using, offensive or incorrect vocabulary in media space, as well as to contribute at the raise of professional level in dealing with LGBT themes.

Students - are a new generation of specialists, this is why at the Information Centre “GenderDoc-M” is regularly conducting trainings for students of psychology, social assistance, journalism, etc. During this training, students are provided with accurate information about sexual orientation and gender identity, about stereotypes and prejudices against LGBT.
