The sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing service offered by the GENDERDOC- M Information Center is confidential and free, intended for adults from the LGBT+ community and other men who have sex with men. Testing allows for early detection of infections and reduces the risk of transmission in the community.

STI testing is performedanonymously and confidentially, with strict respect for the personal data of the beneficiaries. The service contributes to the prevention and control of STIs in the community, providing rapid access to diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Testing includes:

Rapid capillary blood test:

for syphilis and viral hepatitis B and C, with results available in approximately 20–30 minutes.

PCR testing (urogenital panel) for men:

identifies approximately 10 types of urogenital infections, including Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and others, performed by referral to specialized partner clinics.

Pre-test counseling:

explaining the purpose of the testing, assessing risks, answering questions and psychologically preparing the beneficiary.

Post-test counseling:

explanation of the result, medical recommendations, psychological support and indications for treatment if necessary.

Evaluation and treatment prescription:

carried out by the dermatovenerologist for detected infections, with support in the purchase of medicines, ensuring complete and adequate treatment.
